The problem

Little Gru studija is a small children’s shop in Šiauliai, selling toys, baby goods and accessories from a range of European suppliers. They needed a store online, and they were starting from nothing.

For a children’s shop, the hard part isn’t the products. It’s the person buying them. Half the customers are parents who know the child’s age but not the product. The other half are buying a gift, and they know their budget but not the child. A catalog sorted only by supplier or by product type fails both of them.

What I did

A complete store from scratch: design, product setup, and a catalog tree built around the questions customers actually arrive with. On the homepage you can shop by age, from newborns to five and up. Gifts can be browsed by occasion and by budget, under €25 or under €50. And there’s a straight path into each category.

Gift sets on the homepage, each one priced on the card

Each category opens onto its own subcategories, so a parent looking for wooden or plush toys gets there in one click, with filters for availability, type, colour and price once they arrive.

The toys category: four subcategory tiles above the filters and sorting

The product page carries what a gift buyer checks before paying: materials, delivery time, stock left, and a quick way to pay.

A gift-set product page with its trust points, low-stock notice and express checkout

Around it:

  • Custom sections for the homepage and category pages
  • Newborn sets, gift sets and a gift card
  • Parcel-locker delivery, free from €45, plus free local pickup in Šiauliai
  • Payment providers and express checkout
  • Store reviews, email marketing and upsells
  • Meta pixel and Google Analytics

What changed

A small local shop now has a full online store that it runs itself. Products from many suppliers sit in one catalog, and a customer can shop it by the child’s age or by what they want to spend.
