Luxiage storefront

The problem

Luxiage were tired of their platform, but the real frustration wasn’t the software. It was that they couldn’t touch anything themselves.

Every change — a price, a banner, a new page — meant going back to the developer who built it and waiting. The design had aged, and so had the decisions baked into it. They were running a business through someone else’s calendar.

What I did

A full migration to Shopify: products, categories, SEO and redirects, plus a rebuilt catalog tree and navigation, because the old structure had grown rather than been designed.

New design throughout, built around their own photography rather than the stock look the old theme had settled into.

A vision section from the new design: copy on one side, photography running full-bleed on the other

On top of it, custom sections the team can edit themselves without touching code.

One of those custom sections: three panels of image and copy, all editable from the theme editor

Their accounting system was connected directly through a custom API, so orders flow through without anyone re-typing them. Alongside that: multi-language, upsells, parcel-locker and delivery integrations, payment providers, migrated store reviews, email marketing, Meta pixel and analytics.

A product page carrying its own trust points, delivery date and complete-the-look upsell

What changed

They run their own store now. Content, prices, pages — all editable by the team, with documentation for the parts that aren’t obvious. Nobody has to wait for me to change a banner.
